Faculty Government
New Paltz is an organism. The wiki is the brain.
The Governance structure of the Faculty at SUNY New Paltz consists of several different quasi-legislative bodies and committees.
Among them, the Full Faculty, which includes Professional Staff, gather about once each month and sometimes act as a Legislative Body.
The Academic Senate might be considered the primary faculty legislative body, although it also has seats for students and staff.
Faculty Governance is led by interim Presiding Officer Simin Mozayeni, with Ardis Marcotte as the secretary.
Meeting Times/Locations for the Full Faculty Meetings are:
- Tuesday, February 7th, 11:30-12:20, Lecture Center 108
- Thursday, March 9th, 11:30-12:20, Lecture Center 108
- Tuesday, April 11th, 11:30-12:20, Lecture Center 108
- Thursday, May 11th, 11:30-1:30, Lecture Center 102
All meetings will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Academic Senate meetings are scheduled for:
