The Stairwell, through which we entered the tunnel system. The bulb in the upper right was the last source of light we had as we entered the tunnels.

Turning to the left of the stairwell, the tunnel became no more than 5 feet high with various electrical boxes and water pipes restricting our paths. The tunnel went on into blackness for about 150 feet before hitting a dead end.

The path ahead with only the flash of the camera to light the scene.

Continuing straight ahead through a junction and a kicked out door frame.

The tunnels leading to the right of the entrance lead to this strange room containing nothing but a chair, earily alone in the center of the room. The atmospheric debris in this section was horrible causing most of us to cover our mouths in cloth in order to breath.

The interior of the room. A small 2'x3' hole in the far wall lead into an old blast furnace.

The interior of the blast furnace. At the top of the wooden ladder was a small passageway that lead into an old chimney.

Following a 2'x4' tunnel off of the main passage, we were lead to an old boiler room. We were very causious in this area as the catwalks seemed unused a wobbled a bit when walked on. Live electrical wires dangled from the ceiling as well. The temperature in the boiler room must have been 120 degrees and we were quick to vacate the area.

A locked storage room on the far side of the boiler.

On the catwalk over the boiler. There was ambient light in this room but due to the heat and confined space we didnt have time to explore any further.
